As a lot of you guys know, we’ve been losing our asses on shipping costs and have moved to a $5 flat rate shipping cost for a case of BEAST. The price to your door is still less than 50 bucks and WILL NOT go up this year. That’s a promise and you can hold me to it.

The good news is, the next shipment is scheduled to arrive in about 10 days. And since a lot of you asked for it, we’re bringing back the red striped BEAST for another appearance. Same great BEAST performance, same awesome fill, but with the unmistakeable red stripes.

Since we went into pre-order so fast, we are going to keep the 2 case/FREE ground shipping going until the new stock arrives. After that, it’s just a measly 5 bucks per case to get it to your door. We’ll also throw in 2 BEAST hopper stickers for every case that you order.

UPS has informed me that our next shipment ‘has been delayed.’ They are telling me that it will only be a couple of business days which unfortunately puts us at the first part of the week.

I really appreciate everyone’s patience and the all of the emails of support- it means a lot to all of us.

Hopefully, one day, we’ll all look back on this and laugh. We’ll be saying ‘remember when we first started out and we couldn’t keep BEAST in stock?….’

But in the meantime, be assured that this is an issue that we are taking very seriously. The second we get our hands on the shipment, I’ll make another post and give everyone the heads up.

On a side note, we are definitely rocking the boat with the big guys. I can’t get into specifics, but they are absolutley know who we are and how good BEAST is.

And another bit of good news - a lot of you have been asking about custom BEAST jerseys and pants. We are only a few short weeks away from making a BIG announcement. Stay tuned. If you think BEAST is great, just wait until you see the gear.

The pre-orders have been fantastic and I really appreciate everyone’s patience. As most of you know, BEAST is worth the wait. For those of you that stepped up and got your pre-order in, don’t forget to send an email with your t-shirt size. Just an FYI, the t-shirts will be sent out separately so don’t freak out if your paintballs get to you before the shirt.

Here’s another piece of good news, sales of BEAST are up significantly over last year. This is a direct result of you, the player, supporting us and spreading the word about BEAST. I’ve said it many times before, but I still can’t say it enough - we started this company for you guys and we’ll keep making great paint and sell it for less than $50 as long as you want it.

We have also had some requests to bring back the red striped shell that we offered last year. Since we always try to give you what you want - we’re cranking them out right now. They should be ready to ship in a month or so and will have the now famous nuclear green fill.

Thanks to everyone that continues to pump BEAST on the message boards and forums. The more people that buy BEAST, the more we can make. Once we really get the factory jamming, we can start to lower the price.

There have been some questions raised about the paintballs produced during our January 2009 production run. While the vast majority of our customers have been reporting nothing but great performance from their recent orders BEAST paintballs, there have been a few that have had some issues - mainly extremely brittle shells.

As such, I have made the decision to temporarily suspend all sales of BEAST paintballs until we can guarantee that every single case is perfect. I will accept nothing short of perfection and you shouldn’t either.

As far as we can tell, this was NOT a manufacturing problem but a shipping and/or storage issue. We keep all inventory in a temperature and humidity controlled environment and inspect every bag of paint for breaks before it ships. We all know that rapid temperature changes can wreak havoc on the physical properties of paintballs.

I have received photos of broken paint and damaged boxes from a lot of you - please feel free to send more as this will help us asses the situation.

Full refunds or replacement shipments are available to everyone that has reported a problem. Just send me an email at prez@paintballnationusa.com and I’ll take care of it.

In the meantime, we are in process of testing samples from existing inventory and prior production runs. I have met with FedEx twice to address the handling of our shipments.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you. You guys have been incredibly supportive over the last year and are the reason why BEAST has been so successful.

As most of you know, we are not a very big company and we don’t make a crapload of paintballs and shove them into a warehouse until we sell them. We make BEAST in small quantities for many reasons - but these two are the most important: Firstly, you will always get fresh paint (REALLY fresh paint) and secondly, we have more control over quality and can eliminate the dreaded ‘bad batches.’

I would like to extend some major props to all of you guys that have been spreading the BEAST gospel in the forums. Believe it or not, we get more traffic from the forums than anywhere else. The more people that buy BEAST, the more we can produce. The more we produce, the cheaper it gets. The cheaper it gets means we can lower prices (seriously).

So here is what we are going to do for the next couple of weeks. If you pre-order 2 cases of BEAST, we’ll throw in a kick-ass BEAST t-shirt for free. Just email us and let us know what size you want.

Oh…one more thing, no price increases for 2009. See if the big guys are willing to make that promise.

Thanks to everyone that has pumped up BEAST in the forums and spread to the word to your friends. As we come to the end of this year’s paintball season, we are scaling back during the office season. We only sell fresh (very fresh) paint and don’t want to warehouse paint for the winter and then sell 5 month old paint in the spring. As a result, BEAST is now in VERY LIMITED supply. If you want BEAST - buy it now.

Once we sell out, its gone until early next year. We have been working on a couple of new offerings that you guys are going to love.
